“NOOOOOOO, not THAT!”
July 22, 2008 · 5 Comments
I was standing in a very long line at Costco the other day and began to daydream….
What if I was captured as an enemy spy, say in the Middle East, and I was to be interrogated by my captors and tortured to reveal information that would compromise our national security. What would get me to talk? Forget pulling out my fingernails, water boarding or depriving me of sleep. Child’s play. Here is a short, but complete list of things that would force me to reveal anything and everything if captured.
> Make me eat an entire bag of black licorice
> Make me watch any movie with Aaron Eckhart
> Make me serve cottage cheese with peaches at a nursing home
> Make me be the parking lot security guard at Wal Mart
> Make me open up a pet store that only sells rabbits, guinnea pigs and cats
> Make me watch QVC continuously with the volume turned up a bit too high
