Three years ago I had this hair-brain idea to open up a shoe store. As I tell people today, it has been the worst best decision I have ever made in my life. Lots of blood, sweat and tears. The life lessons I have learned through this business cannot be duplicated. A few things I have learned in three years:
: My wife is amazing. She is the reason why we are still here.
: My friends have sacrificed beyond pay back to help us out.
: Profit isn’t a bad word.
We begin the next chapter of our store at the end of Saturday. Our current store is closing and reopening in about a month in a new location. We are anxious to turn the page and start reading the next chapter of our life as business owners. Thanks for your support and encouragement the past three years.
I would like to sum up my experience with this oldie but goodie. SHOES!
